Tom, who reviewed both the My-Vox and Total Recall, is currently working on a comparison and contrast article.

Question transcribing

We do some light dictation in my office. I realize that any voice dictation can be uploaded into the PC, played, and transcribed. Are there compatible foot pedals, software, etc to help with the transcribing? I'd like to replace our old microcassette unit.

There are all digital dictation hardware solutions (footpedals, etc). I know my firm is looking at going to an all-digital dictation system, but it isn't cheap.

Since I won the one during Christmas, I haven't been able to put down the My-Vox. Nice recording and playback (althought the buttons on the user interface could have been larger).
