category menu problem
has anyone seen this before??
the category menu (upper right side) randomly drops down/opens even when my stylus is no where near it (even when the stylus isn't touching the screen). the menu will sometimes open & stay open. other times it opens & closes on its own.
this happens in memo, addresses, calendar, applications menu, etc. i haven't seen it occur in any applications.
the longer the problem goes on, it seems the reaction time btwn click/stylus to action is getting longer.
i've tried using the digitizer but that solve anything.
this problem started after i installed vindigo 2.0 (paid) and software for the targus voice recorder. i don't know if the problem is related to them though.
fyi, i have a visor deluxe.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
While I have not personally heard of this happening, the first thing I would try is a SoftReset.
If you think it might be related to a third party app, get a good backup of your Visor and then remove that application. Perform another SoftReset and see if that fixes it.
If you cannot seem to isolate the problem, you might try a HardReset. If the problem still persists, you might just have a bad device.
One other thought is to make sure you do not have something trapped between the screen and the case of the Visor. This might be putting pressure on the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Just a thought.
