Having been a Pilot and Newton MessagePad user, I am disappointed with the backlight funtion on the Visor. Has anyone a solution that will improve the contrast when in low light? I have tried Greenlight and Lighthack but neither helps.

Get the Invert Hack

I read recently that on a Palm V, if you open a new Memo item and enter the shortcut character followed by a period and an eight, the Palm V will invert it's backlight. Entering the same string of characters again will cause the Palm V to return to normal backlighting. I've seen this work on one Palm V and not on another. Has anyone tried this with the Visor?

I just tried it and it doesn't seem to. It clears the text, acting like it understand what I entered as a command, but it didn't do anything.
