Kiddo, you really need a (new) proof reader and a lesson in formal writing. I supose that you've heard me say that a alot.

Note: Happy now? Good....

MarioKart is perhaps the best game ever... perhaps.. It's in the top 5 multiplayer games, at the very least.

...and with that, we see that the Xbox has its work cut out for it. Technical superiority aside, it's the games, stupid. Nintendo has yet to be beaten by anybody in the games dept. Hopefully, it will be enough to fight off the 500 lb gorilla.

Have you heard the one about the pot calling the kettle "black"? You misspelled two words, used a capital where one wasn't needed, didn't use a capital where one was needed, and used the word "new" where you meant (I assume) "need".

I knew someone was going to jump on that; I supose I should have seen that one comming.

Having said that, I'm just posting to a discusstion forum. Sloppness is allowed. Mike was posting to the index page of the largest Handspring Visor web site. I think he should at least try to maintain some sort of profestional facade. Articles and news spots are compleatly different from posts on a discusstion board.

For some odd reason I'm an old school web geek, and as a general rule I dislike the perifferation of web-bassed services like discusstion boards and free email acounts. They have a tendenicy to change people's attidue, and not always in a good way.

Mikes article made it online a little to early (before we proof read it). The edited version is now online.

Thanks,

For God's sake, Celchu19, hit the damn Spell Check button two buttons over to the right from the Submit Reply button. It takes the spell checker about two seconds to correct your spelling mistakes and makes your posts easier to read. It is one thing to spell poorly, but when you have the tools readily at hand to fix your errors, it is simply inexcusable. I'm not going to ding you on grammatical errors, but do us all a favor and use the spell checker. It is free!

doesn't mean we're not going to give you grief about it though. Image is important, "sloppness" promotes a poor image of you.

Attitude towards what? Coherently finishing a thought?
Discussion boards are just an evolution of usenet, ya know.

Problem is that it doesn't have Mario Kart - the best game ever (nobody agrees with me on that one!)

I'll agree with you on that too...best game ever.

Xbox, for whatever reason, just doesn't seem that exciting. Probably because it is a windows box.

The GameCube, running PPC chips, seems really exciting.

Of course, I was really excited about the PS2, but in the 6 months I've owned it, I have yet to buy a game for it.

It's a general attitude, and a lousy evolution if you ask me.

------

I think there is a difference between an error every 2 or 3 words and an error in every page. In addition, by using formal language and a formal style can (at least in my opinion) make up for the occasional comma splice. You don't have to be perfect but at least make it look like you tried.
