-- Simple Question: My memory capacity is overloaded - how do I remove VISOR programs? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=13896)

I have loaded tons of programs into my VISOR.

Now I have little memory left.

How do I remove specific programs?

I think I remember that you had to drag the icon
to the bottom -- not sure.

Thanks for the help.

If the applications are loaded on your Visor, you need to tap on the "home" button, do a d . That will bring up a screen with all of your applications and allow you to delete any that you want. It will also show how much memory you have left. Hopefully that is what you were talking about.

If you want to delete the apps that came with your visor you cant without removing them from rom. Technically they dont take up any space from your memory. You might try purging your old events.

To clarify...

I want to remove programs I added - not
what originally came with the VISOR.

I don't understand what the "wand d" explanation
that Markletoo is talking about. Please clarify.

Thanks, again!

The "wand" is a special Graffiti character.

Another way to do the same thing is to first tap the Home button (so you end up in the main "program launcher" window), then tap the Menu button right under the Home button. Some menus should appear at the top of the Visor screen, and one of the menu options is "Delete."

That's assuming you're using the standard launcher. If you're using something like Silver Screen, then there could be alternate ways of deleting apps, similar to the "drag to the bottom" that you mentioned.
