As far as I know, there is an important piece of instruction that Landware has completely left out of all their documentation and online FAQs: Beam Receive must be 'ON' in order for the keyboard to work. If you've followed the installation and operating instructions to a 'T' and still could not get the keyboard to work, try turning on beam receive.
(I received my GoType! last week Friday, and could not use it over the weekend because I thought it was defective. I received Landware's support reply today, indicating that I needed to try turning on beam receive. Now it works flawlessly.)
Now why would that be? Anyone have a clue???

Thanks for the information! I just recived my GoType today and had the same problem. Now it works great!

When I called tech people about GoType for the Visor, the tech person stated that the company was working on a software fix for the problem so that keyboard would work without the "beam" feature having to be on.
