does the Memplug+PiDerect like a Flash Memory Modual?

does the Memplug+PiDerect like a Flash Memory Modual? because a flash modual is supposed to only run read only stuff and the new app for the memplug PiDerect is supposed to be able to read read-only databases.

if this is true i will soon sell my 16mb hagiware flash modual i get a memplug SM adapter with Piderect.

thanks,
robert

If you have a Visor with OS 3.5.? you are fine and I would suggest you get a MemPlug with PiDirect, which is much better than Flash RAM modules but slower. You won't be able to run programs as fast as you do with a Flash Module. I think it is 3 to 4 times slower. However, it is fine for me. Some applications load very fast, almost instantly. But programs like AvantGo will take about 5 seconds to load. Most of them will take 1 to 2 seconds.

NOTE:PiDirect won't work with Visor DLX or Solor
