Angry Fatal error after turning on my V. Dlx

Help - I know very little about my Visor Deluxe and, especially, troubleshooting. When I turned my visor deluxe on tonight (I haven't used it in a couple of weeks), it brought up a screen almost immediately that says Fatal Error and underneath "Fatal Exception" (with a reset button). However, I cannot reset it not can I turn it off.
I'm desperate for help.
TIA.

have you tried all different types of resets?

first: just stick a paperclip in the reset hole

second: stick a paperclip in the rested how while holding the UP button. you can let go the up button after a few seconds.

if that doesnt work, press reset while holding the power button. left go after a few seconds and the screen will give you an option to erase everything.

If that doesnt work, remove the batetries for half an hour.

if that doesnt work, you are boned.

Wink Thank you!

Thorin,

Thank you for your quick response. I've re-charged the batteries and hotsynced the unit. I've lost quite a few programs and some unsaved data - but it's not toast - thank God. I feel a little silly because this was my fault (I hadn't turned on the PDA in two weeks).
I really appreciate the help.

Thanks,

AdamsMom across the water (in Victoria)
