Innogear Bias

It is great that all of the product reviewers conveniently recieve Innogear products but paying customers are repeatedly put off on delivery with poor excuses from Innogear's product fulfillent partner, RushOrder. After waiting an inordinate time for a MiniJam delivery with multiple false promises of shipment, I cancelled the order through RushOrder and placed an order for GoodSounds MP3 player through PalmGear. MIRACLE OF MIRACLES...5 days later, I'm listening to MP3 tunes finally on my Visor (this includes shipment overseas to a military base via SAM which can slow mail down), obviously I'm not listening on the mythical MiniJam. I'm feeling that VisorCentral has lost it's objectivity concerning products and it's support of end-users due to selective support from Handspring vaporwear producers.

Innogear just plain sucks. Their marketing sucks, their development sucks, their public affairs suck, their management sucks, and their service fulfillment house RUSHORDER SUCKS. They just plain suck. I hope they go bankrupt. They deserve it.

I already use my MiniJam in my car. Just get one of those CD to cassette adapters and plug it into the MiniJam heaphone jack. It sounds great!

So...what are VisorCentral's reviewers supposed to do? I sympathize with the troubles you've had with Innogear. However, the reviewers are given products by many companies to REVIEW. You expect them to say to companies (such as Innogear, in your opinion) "Sorry, due to some alleged reports that you do not provide good service, we will not review your product. Here take it back and go away!" As a Visor owner, I want someone to try these products out and to disseminate the information. That's their job. You've done your job--voted with your wallet. If Innogear or any other company is that bad, consumers will vote with their wallet and make them go away. As far as your complaints about Innogear vaporware, it seems that this forum has plenty of people complaining that it not only is Innogear who is guilty.

Actually, there is one reason for buying the MiniJam that the GoodSounds can't match: support for the MAC. This makes the MiniJam the only game in town so it's nice to see some great accessories to go along with it.

Has InnoGear released the specs for the speakers?

MiniJam in Car

IF you have a CD player in your car you can use a small FM modulator to plug into the output jack of the MiniJam. I used one with my Jornado when I had it. I picked it up at Circuit City, I think it's made by Recoton and it was $25. it's not CD quality, but it works

It's a standard jack so it should work with anything (soundsgood, your computer, etc).
