Unhappy All Third-Party Software Crashing on Visor Deluxe

For some reason every third-party application I've installed on my Visor Deluxe has been crashing - AvantGo, Vindigo, Games, E-book Readers, etc., etc., etc.

I've cleared all of the third-party applications and reset my Visor several times; I'm also using the Handspring desktop as well as the new Palm desktop 4.0 (different computers).

Given that there is no additional software on the Visor, why would every application I load afterwards crash (presuming that there are no apparent software conflicts).

This has only happened recently; I had no software problems for over a year until around 3 months ago.

Any suggestions????????

1. Leave the batteries out for a couple of days.
2. Run for a few days with only built-in apps. Use it alot.

If it crashes with only built-ins, contact Hanspring.

If it doesn't crash, re-download a simple app and try it for a few days. If that works, re-download an app that you were having problems with and re-install that.

I would suggest using the same version desktop to sync the PDA. Probable upgrade to the Handspring version of palm desktop 4.01 on boith units. I assume that's what you're using on one of your pc's. If not -- you can get the upgrade free from the H/S site. If one of the pc's is not owned by you (an employer--etc) then I would suggest using the version you cannot alter on both pc's.

Anyway -- the point is -- use one desktop version if you are syncing to two different computers.
