Outlook Express 5.5 & Desktop 4.0.1
OK...I've been digging through all the posting regarding email syncing and Outlook Express and none have matched mine exactly.
I'm using the latest version of Outlook Express (5.5), HotSync Mgr v3.1.2H, and Palm Desktop 4.0.1. I have configured my HotSync manager to use Outlook Express and have set Outlook Express to be my default mail application.
When I Hotsync my Prism, the message "Synchronizing Mail" flashes by (with no errors) but never syncs any email messages. The log shows that mail was successful. Any help??????
For starters, you can only sync with the default OE Inbox. If you're moving email to other folders (manually or through Rules) they won't sync to the Visor.
Next, make sure OE is your default MAPI client. The easiest way to do this is by going into Internet Explorer, select the Tools menu, and then Internet Options. On the window that opens, select the Programs tab and make sure Outlook Express is selected as the email app.

I have the same problem, and Mark's suggestions didn't help. For me, I think it has something to do with Hotmail. . .

That explains everything. I have my corporate email set up (not being forward to my Local Inbox) which explains why. I moved 2 messages to my Local Inbox and they synced.
Thanks for the clarification MarkEagle.
