Just wanted to say thanks for this great site! After using this site for several weeks, I finally decided a visor was my best bet. So I ordered a BVD off the web page vs. over phone- recommended in a post here. I also ordered a rainbow pack stylus so I didn't have to use the standard one, and a backup module- all off of recommendations here. I received my order on Wed. and everything was there and in fine working order. I also ordered the fossil case mentioned on the accessories discussion list. It is not here yet- I took the free standard (UPS) shipping.
I really like the blue- very different. I'm all ready to get going and sync with my PC, download some software... But our server and network is down right now (upgrades yesterday- some kind of glitch today!) and with our Outlook being on the server, I am holding off.

But thanks to everyone for all the helpful tips on this website!!

Enjoy your new VDX. I also have a Fossil case and I love it. I agreed, this is a great site w/ a lot of helpful people.

I agree...this site and its message boards are a great resource for info about the Visor. I'm a Palm OS "veteran" and I still learn lots of good stuff here. I stumbled onto these boards by accident shortly before I got my Visor Deluxe; my purchase was based largely on what I read here (as was my finger-crossing as I sync'd it for the first time).
As we learn, so should we teach--this sure beats calling tech support long-distance, too.

This is what a community is all about. Visor Central is a real community site, unlike some site on the net that claims to be one.

In less than a month, I have a blue VDX, serial and USB cradle, PDA pinache stylus, Rhodiana case, backup module and lots of jealous looks...Hey, it's only money

Now, when do the good springboards start showing up I'm starting to look like Batman with a phone, beeper, Visor and a security card.
