I've had problems hot synching the address book in my visor deluxe for a while, although everything else seems to synch over. Here are some solutions i tried, which handspring tech support suggested
1. soft reset
2. deinstalling and reinstalling palm software
3. overwriting the desktop address book with the mac address book
4. installing palm desktop 2.6.1
The third solution was catastrophic because somehow, half of the addresses got deleted. I thought maybe it had to do with the settings I had in my Outlook Express, but that shouldn't have deleted addresses in my visor AND desktop. I never touched the settings in Outlook Express. Handspring tech support is absolutely no help at all. Any solutions?
