Unhappy

In setting up my new visor delux, I know I saw a place to change the size of the fonts. Now that I'm using it, I want to put it back to a smaller one again, and can't find how to do it... HELP!!

Are you talking about the font in the address book/calendar/memo pad applications? If so, you just need to get into that application, tap on the silkscreen menu option in the lower left corner (the one below the house/home option). That will bring up the drop down menus on the top of the screen. Tap on options and then on font. You can do that in each application to change the font size.

Thanks for such a quick response, but the only button I have below the house/calendar is the contrast 'button'. It doesn't bring down any boxes. Is yours the Handspring visor delux too? I did a search on silkscreen, and it didn't find anything.....
still

The silkscreen is the area of the screen that has the icons on it even when the Visor is turned off.

Go into your datebook and tap on the picture of a pull down menu in the silkscreen area, under the picture of the house. A menu should pop up. Tap on the word "Options" at the top of the screen, then tap on the word "Font..." below it. You should be able to choose a font.

This technique will work on many other apps.

If you really want to have some fun with fonts, download any of the "alphafonts" collections. They come with either HackMaster (or, in newer collections, X-Master), FontHack123, AAA Font Viewer, and a whole bunch of fonts you can install in your Visor. You can even set specific apps to use specific fonts. I use Launcher III 1.5.2 as my app launcher, and using a little tiny font, I can have all 7 tabs visible without scrolling. (Yes, they're still readable.)

I'll give it a shot:
The emulator images display about 10% larger than life on my 17" monitor, but when I try to resample them smaller, the text blurs. Just imagine it a little smaller.

Within FontHack123-2.2, you set up which apps use which fonts.

The latest Alphafonts collection comes with X-Master, AAA Font Viewer, and FontHack123-2.2, along with a big selection of fonts.

FYI... I see you are using FontHack 2.2. There's a new version, 3.2 which is much better. They fixed all kinds of bugs. Download it ASAP!
