I recently dropped my Visor from about two feet onto a carpeted floor. It was somwhat protected by the leather binder it was in. Ever since then, the location of stuff under the touch-sensitive screen seems to have shifted left about 1/6". For instance, when I click the "abc" to get the keyboard, I get the "edit" function. When I click "123", I get "Find". You get the idea. Could something be broken? Can I fix it by opening the case? It operates except for this INCREDIBLY ANNOYING problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried recalibrating it via the Prefs/Digitizer screen yet?

Hopefully that will fix the problem.

It does shift!

The visors screen is not fixed by screws - it is held in a floating position by the plastic. It HAS to float to allow for thermal expansion and also to absorb the shocks of falls etc.
However, the design also leads to the screen loosening up after a couple of falls. The first time it happened to me, I thought it was a flaw and got the Visor exchanged. Then I got the new one form HS and promptly dropped it (ok, ok I AM a klutz :-) and the screen shifted! So that if I held the Visor and shook it, I can head a rattling sort of sound - I dont care too much about it and it seems to be ok after re-calibration.

Recalibration is the answer. I always took it for granted. Just assumed it was to demonstrate the touch scrren aspect of the unit. Thanks, you've been a lot of help.
