-- Geode; GPS Maps ; File Formats; Converting (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=11905)
I have GPS data files in several different formats. I don't own a Geode, but I'd like to be able to share my files with Geode users. Does anyone know of an efficient way to translate Topo! (.tpg),Garmin (.mps), or PanTerra (.loc) files into Geode's GeoExchange (.pdb) file format?
I've also posted this question at the GeoDiscovery forum. I've had about a hunderd people look at this question here and another hundered there, but all I get is blank stares. I can't believe GeoDiscovery would design a product that is not able to make use of other map data resources. What about a simple text file; Can GeoView or whatever it's called it import waypoint, route, and/or track data as a text file?
Frustrated,
