Remember two years ago...
When you had to stand in line for 2 days to get tickets to star wars episode 1?
Well, I just grabbed myself four tickets to Episode II - Midnight Showing, on the internet, for only $32. Not bad at all!
I feel sorry for those waiting in line...

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?
Three, actually. Episode One came out in 1999. Episode Three is slated for 2005.

Personally, I didn't wait in line for Episode I. I called the theater and ordered tickets for the show I wanted over the phone. When we got to the theater, we walked up to the machine, swiped the card, and it printed the tickets out. I didn't have any trouble with Spider-man either. I saw the first show on opening day since I was off from work (I had to work that weekend instead). Hopefully now that AMC has absorbed our cineplex, that service won't decline. Interesting situation since it was an independent chain owned by the same person who originally opened all of the cinemas in the area, then later sold out to UA in the 80s. He came back a few years ago and opened up a new chain and managed to put most of those same UA franchises out of business (his new theaters put the old UAs to shame). Now it appears he's either partnering or selling out to AMC. Hopefully, they'll keep the theaters up to the same level, or he may repeat again in 5-10 years.
Seems that UA went bankrupt a couple years ago anyways. Forced them to shut down all their theatres in my area.

Then when stadium seating and lots of screens came into vogue again a few years back, they got their clocks cleaned. They're still around, though (they've gone through several owners, though, IIRC).
