I realize there is another thread about the original rebate offer but I thought I'd start a new fresh one...

I'm happy to report that we got our Prism rebate check for $200 from CompUSA yesterday. Kudos to CompUSA for honoring the hiccup!!

That's pretty awesome. Perhaps not strategic, yet still nice of them to not shower you with gift certificates or store credit or retail 'play money.' You should do a good turn and spend that money at CompUSA.

Gotta love the Prism for $49!

Spent my rebate at CompUSA

Loved getting the rebate check in the mail!
Spent it plus about $3800 there buying a new Sony Vaio Slimtop, Printer, Cable Modem, etc.

I wasn't going to get it there, but they came through in the end. Good job CompUSA!
