Thumbs up

I have had a really good experience buying a Fisher Bullet Space pen Stylus from StylusCentral.com, and thought I would share it. I bought the pen, after reading the VC reveiw of it, through StylusCentral.com as it was the only place I could find it. The transaction went well and I received my pen/stylus within a few days. I absolutely love it and carry it with me everywhere my VDX goes.
One day, my pen was removed from my pocket and tossed on the floor by a 19mo old, and the pen landed on the stylus tip. (on the Bullet Space pen, the stylus is on the end of the pen cap) Unfortuneately, the tip was punched into the cap and rattling around. I could push it back into place, but it wouldn't stay there anymore.
I decided to contact StylusCentral to see if they had any ideas on how I could fix it and they responded by sending me a new cap! I was thrilled with how quickly they responded and took care of the problem. (Incidnetally, the new cap appears to be better designed to handle this type of accident again) If you are looking for a stylus, I whole heartedly recommend sending your business their way.

Finding the bullet stylus

By the way, the Fisher space pen can also be found in department store pen sections - and often go on sale. You can try it out in the store as well. I found mine at Marshall Fields.

I second that motion

I have to agree. I really like the stylus, although I have a slight reservation about the ink. I can't get a dark line from it without an inordinate amount of pressure. I've always found that to be the case with Space Pens. But as a stylus, it really helps improve Graffiti, especially when entering large amounts of text (I'm working through a Spanish tutorial with SuperMemo, and entering hundreds of words and phrases with a standard stylus would be unbearable).

One other minor complaint: I wish the clip were more secure. It always feels like it's going to slide off when I pull the pen and cap apart. It would be interesting to see if Fisher or StylusCentral sells replacement clips.

Thumbs up styluscentral thumbs up

I've ordered several products from Stylus central and have really been pleased with the service. I ordered a stylus/pen combo that I didn't like when I actually tried it - returning it was painless, and they even shipped a different product and credited the difference before I sent the old one back.
