-- Can you use CompactFlash Memory Cards? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=1407)

Question

I noticed SanDisk sells CompactFlash Memory cards and they say they work in many PDAs. I was curious if anyone knows if they work in Visors?

Compact Flash cards cannot presently be used in a Visor. In theory, it would be possible to develop a Springboard module which would read them, but this has not been done, or even announced as an upcoming product.

However, the TRG Pro does allow the use of CF cards. I don't know the details as I don't have one.

What is a TRG Pro? Sorry, new to the PDA world.

It's another PDA company (see http://www.trgpro.com )

I'd personally stick with the visor, and get a minijam, since it can use MMC cards, and is an Mp3 player on top of it!

Question

Is the minijam out yet?

Yes, also keeping in mind that the TRG Pro is aimed at the corporate enviroment. (translation: it is hideously expensive)

Not yet, but supposedly "within weeks."
