I am just curious how many others are waiting forever for their EB Slipper case.

It will be 7 weeks for me this Wednesday. This is longer than I waited for the Visor. I don�t mind waiting but they give any indication of any expected date. All they say is �backordered.� People complain about Handspring but this is worse. At least Handspring said 4 to 6 weeks and I got it a few days after the 6 weeks. Why can�t companies at least give us some idea of a delivery date? Is that a lot to ask? They should at least say the usual 6 to 8 week spiel. Say something other then just backordered. They have to have some idea of the order/shipment ratio I am sure. They should know about how long it is taking orders to go out.

All I ask is some type of information. I emailed them before and they said (I also posted here) expected a shipment Feb 14th. All they said was first come first served and that is fine and how it should be. I just told them to at least give me some idea on an expected shipping date.

I got feed up so bought �The Clip� from Best Buy for $5 and stuck the round part to the soft case that comes with the Visor Deluxe. This actually seems to be working just fine for now. At least I can carry it. I am actually starting to think on just canceling the slipper and just use this. It is a nice clip and seems to be working just fine. I would just like the slipper for protection and I don�t have to play with the hard cover that comes with the Visor.

Sorry just venting.

Been waiting since 1/24 for my EB Slipper. Sent them an email last week and they responded on Friday that they're expecting to ship mine on or about 3/1. Poor customer service but it's the case I want so I'll stick it out a little longer... and hope that the case is worth it!

This afternoon I received an email shipping confirmation of my EB Slipper Visor with Clip. I ordered in mid Jan, so it's been a long wait. In the mean time I have actually grown to really liking my Rhodiana case. Looks like it will be a nice dilemma for me on deciding which one to use!

HEY!! Just today I received an Email saying it has been shipped. I didn't mean to give the company a hard time, as I am sure they can only ship what their suppliers can get to them. I was just mad, as there was no further information. All I wanted was some type of range of expected delivery that�s all. I figured if I mentioned it here, it would ship to make me look bad. It worked


Anyway it looks like it is finally on its way. I guess venting helped again

It's my anniversary!

I'm at four weeks today. I thought I could expect it any day now, but based on these posts I guess I'll just sit back and relax.

I ordered mine on 2/18. I have sent them 2 emails asking for expected shipping dates and have not received any response form EB.
Still waiting, but looking forward to getting this case on my Visor!

I finally got a response from EB. They said they are expecting a large shippment in about a week and will be shipping the cases out then.

I had called as the site had said they were in stock after being out for a while. The lady said the brown were in stock, not the black I ordered. I finally got mine after 4 weeks. (I did get a e mail that it had shipped, 2 days to receive) I have had this (belt clip) case only one day but compared to the stock cover (too much to handle, it should be a flip cover), the Handspring belt case (too hard to get out of case, Springboard cover would pull off, broke easily), another belt clip case from Palm Gear (was horizontal and could not change opening to rear) the Slipper Visor case is the greatest. You have to learn not to pull up on the Visor while pushing down on the release button (it comes out horizontal or vertical) but I don't fear dropping it (which I have with no damage) or losing the case. BTW there are 2 places to put cards in the cover. Buy it! ($47 including shipping and tax in CA.)

Someone just mentioned that EB said they
are in stock with the brown cases. Has anyone laid eyes on the brown one? I wonder if it is decent looking. Now that I think about it, it probably woudn't look that great with the graphite VDX. Anyway, yet another topic to discuss.

C'mon Shipping!!!

I read about the Slipper on a thread here and decided it was the way to go. Been waiting since Feb 9 with no word from EB. I am not dying for it, but it will be nice to not have to do the quick stash of the VDX slip on case. I am actually getting pretty good at dumping the slip cover in a pocket and then fliping the snap on cover, but it is kind of cumbersome.
