Problem w/ Hotsync - "application not responding"
Wondered if someone could lend me a hand -
I was having trouble syncing w/ Avantgo a little while back. After trying a few different things with no result, I had the bright idea that I would uninstall my palm software, reinstall it, and then try to go from there. Well, after the reinstall, I can't sync at all!! It starts to work, then the dialog box pops up and says "an application failed to respond to a Hotsync notification. Check palm desktop for details. (8009)"
Does anyone have any idea how to correct this? I know by uninstalling my software, I lost all of the applications and data on my desktop, but I do have a backup module and have been using that to save. Could this be causing the problem?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Do you have all the conduits on the desktop that the visor tries to sync with?

I'm really not sure about the conduits... I have quite a bit of third party software on my visor. I just tried a reinstall restoring the palm conduits to default - is this the Notebook version mentioned or is that something else? I tried again to sync w/ the same result - error 8009. With my lack of technical knowledge, I'm not sure of the next step.
