Migrating from VDx to Edge

I have been using a Deluxe for 2 years now, and I'm switching over to the Edge. I think I noticed some threads in the past about software that is not compatible or that needs a different version becuase of the 3.5 OS. Can anyone give me any tips?

The only reason software would be incompatable is if you are using a Backup Module to transfer all your data from the Deluxe to the Edge. If you do this, the Handspring OS3.1 Updater will be transferred to the Edge, causing the Edge to go crazy because it does not know what to do with it. The solution is to download a program called "filez" from palmgear, delete the OS Updater (I forget exactly what it is called), back up the Deluxe with the Springboard, and then restore the data to the Edge.

If you are not using the Backup module, no need to worry. All regular programs made for OS3.1 will work on the Edge 3.5 OS.
