Just out of curiosity, I wonder whether the demand for this cool device has outstripped current supply...

Anyone have any insight as to the number that have been ordered so far, or whether people are being put on a wait list?

Just ordered mine a few minutes ago and when I asked if I could "reserve" one the person said I could "order" one and that it would be shipped in October. At that time I would be billed on my credit card...guess I'll have to keep an eye on that balance and when I see the charge it will be in my hands in a few days...

I just pre-ordered one -- they didn't use
the term "wait list", but I suspect their
production will take a while to ramp up
enough to meet demand. Also, their system
was down (from the high load?), and they
were writing orders down by hand.
