Right next to "San Fransisco" is a down triangle. Tap that and you'll see a list of cities. Find the city that's closest to you and in your own time zone and it will adjust to that.

If you're talking about your REAL time (The one that shows up in DateBook+" then go to the Pref application. Under the "General" catagory you'll see a screen with the current time. That's the time that all your other apps pick up.

The very bottom left of your screen. Not part of the LCD display. To the left of the graffiti area. Do you see it now?

Naw, don't worry, the Menu icon is at the bottom when the actual menu comes out of the top. It's not totally user friendly.

Question

Speaking of time zones, does anyone know of a website where I can get the exact minute and seconds of the town that I live in?

Posted by mtn on 11-28-1999 07:03 AM:

Talking

kwheeler,

You shouldn't need to find the exact minutes and seconds of the town you live in. The minutes and seconds are the same everywhere in the world -- it's only the hours that are different...

:-)

You can get the exact time here: http://www.time.gov/

Thumbs up

kwheeler,

There is also an AWESOME piece of freeware that allows you to configure a set of city-specific clocks on a window that can be closed to the background. It also syncs the city-time of your choice from a time server to your win98 clock. It's also got a stopwatch and timer. (It's not unlike the many beefed up clocks that are made for Palm OS--It's just for PC.) It's called WorldTime. Go to www.felinefuture.com/pawprint/wt/index.html
to check it out.

I have nothing to do with WorldTime's developer. I just think it's a great app.

Maybe he meant "minutes and seconds" as in "Degrees, minutes and seconds." I added my home city by creating a new city, then entering the latitude and longitude. Now, I get the actual sunrise/sunset times for my exact location!

For close to exact lat. and long., go to the Terraserver site. Search for your location, look at the arial view, find your place and then go to the "image info" link. Some places aren't up yet...so best of luck.
