Question

Since I received my Visor Deluxe, I have had a problem with the power button and it's inability to turn the Visor on. In order to power on the Visor I must perform a soft reset everytime.

Also, within a two week period I have been through 10 batteries.

Anyone else had this problem, and if so do you have any solutions? I have a new unit coming from Handspring and hope that this cures my problem since I have also ordered a unit for my wife.

Let me know.

Thanks

Sorry to tell you this but after spending hours of long distance, I found that my problem (the same inability to turn on my visor w/o hitting the reset) was unsolvable. They are shipping me a new one w/in a week. (Don't let them tell you that you need to send yours back first). I, too have been through many batteries. But I also think its a normal occurance. Buy some NiMH recharables. Good luck.

10 batteries (5 pair?) in two weeks is anything but normal. The OEM batteries (cheap Panasonic 'industrial') lasted almost two weeks of moderate use here. Get a replacement if it's truely burning up batteries that quickly! (That's almost a pair a day, if your numbers are right!)
