Question

The earbud headset that comes with the VisorPhone is of very poor quality.

The bud does not want to stay in the ear and the mike does not cancel out background sounds like the wind.

A headset that I woluld like to use with my VisorPhone would be the EarGlove Hands-Free headset (http://www.goneo.com/Products/ ).

It stays on the ear, has background noise canceling technology, and it looks good.

Can anyone tell me which model will work with the VisorPhone?

And when is the Visor/VisorPhone case coming out?

Thanks.

brews

Thumbs down visorphone case

The visorphone case is very impractical. Someone needs to come up with something better.

Cool VisorPhone Headset / case

Brewsaid: I believe that any headset with a standard 2.5 mm jack will work with the VisorPhone.
So the Earglove Universal is the one for you.
I haven't tried this unit.
The one I ended up getting was a Plantronics M-145, this one works magnificently! It has inline volume/mute/tone controls.
Later this year Plantronics will release the M-205, which I know I will not be able to resist (see http://www.plantronics.com).

Re: Case
satcs is quite right here.
The case is OK, nice leather, clips well on one's belt (although I'd prefer it without a belt clip)..., but to truly exploit the PDA/phone combo, the unit has to be removed from the case.
With the unit in the case, one can accept and disconnect calls by pressing the phone button (on top of the unit), but the screen is not visible, so, no caller ID monitoring, no initiation of calls (except the last one) etc.
Not a big deal though IMHO.

Cool M145 on Sale

I went to the Plantronic site to check out the head sets. They wanted $54.95 for the M145. I did a little searching and found the same headset on sale for $44.95. Here's the link: http://store.yahoo.com/headsetzone/m145.html
