Cool

I've posted before on my method of preventing the stylus from scratching the screen, but now I've got the complete info....

The *best* way to make sure your stylus doesn't scratch the screen is to polish out any defects in it to your own (hopefully high) standards. Start by removing any gross lumps with a new x-acto blade and then progress to fiber optic polishing paper of ever finer grades. Keep the paper wet so that it doesn't clog and use light pressure. Always clean the stylus well between grades to make sure you don't carry larger particles of grit onto the finer paper and of course make sure that you clean it well after you're done and don't carry polishing grit to your Visor

The place to get the polishing paper is Fiber Instrument Sales, Inc. They have a web site at www.fisfiber.com They have an online catalog or their toll free number is 1-800-5000-FIS. In their catalog it's called FIS Lapping Film. They have sheets in 25 packs for $8.95. It's more than you will ever need so maybe people on these boards can club together to buy some. The best way to polish it to go down in steps, say 15um, 5,um and 1um. If you do it right, a 1 micron finish on the stylus is not going to make scratches

Hope this helps everyone - whatever stylus they use. I've done this to the stock stylus and the deluxe 5 pack and it works really well.
