How do you install more than one application at once?
You go to the directory where your palm programs have been unzipped, then double click on the *.prc files for the programs you want to install. That should cause your install program to open and show the *.prcs in it's install directory. Next time you hotsync, they should install.
But be sure to install no mare than 5 items at a time. I've done this more than once and my BVD refuses to HotSync afterwards. Be careful!
I installed more than 20 items at once, no problem at all.

There is a faster and easier way.
While you keep holding down the Ctrl key, single-left-click on the .prc/.pdb files you want to install, then drag and drop all of them into the Palm Install Tool window, and voila, you're all set! You can get the Install Tool window to open first by double clicking on the first file to install.
I've never had any trouble installing 10-15 files at a time.
