Now this is what I call Customer Support!
Today I HotSynced when I was home for lunch....while the HotSync screen was still up on my V I hit the contrast adjustment dot...this completely fried my V! Wouldn't soft reset, wouldn't hard reset, wouldn't do any thing remotely conected with being on. No power. No nuthin'. (Bought GVdx and OVdx in Feb, 2000......OVdx still works fine).
Called HS tech support and told 'em the scoop......they didn't even suggest that I try anything to fix it. They immediatly told me they were sending me a new GVdx and for me to send my broken one to them after I recieve my replacement.
I'm suprised and impressed. I really expected a fight.....or at least a $20 long-distance bill for calling tech support's non-toll-free number.
Anyone else had this good of a time with HS support? Are they just being nice to me 'cause I bought 2 Vdx's and a couple of modules from them?
