-- Great Case For Stowaway Users (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3778)

Cool

Being a very happy Stowaway/Visor owner, I wanted to get my handheld family a nice 'home' where they'd be well protected when I wasn't using them.

The best solution I've found is the RhinoSkin 3000 case (see http://rhinoskin.com/rp3000_page.htm).

The Visor fits nicely on one half, and the Stowaway fits nicely on the other. Both are strapped in very securely (and there are still plenty of places for stylus, Springboard modules, batteries, etc.).

Just thought there might be others looking for a Visor + Stowaway case solution.

Looked up your suggestion, and - while I am duly impressed with the functionality - I am forced to agree with the stereotype in one of the reviews about it being a "man purse". Gonna have to pass.

Unhappy

That's cool.....to each his own!

I have to say that this looks a lot better than the shaving kit bag that I used to carry my Visor + stuff in.

I think of it more as a Mini-Laptop case than anything else (after all, the Visor + Stowaway replace almost every need for me to have a laptop computer).

If you need to carry a decent amount of stuff, and want to avoid the aforementioned "man-purse" look (which I believe most of us do), the bike messenger bag or one of its derivatives is the way to go. Cooler than a laptop bag (but you can put a laptop in it if you want), big enough to haul whatever you need, and very handy.

Mine is not a true messenger bag (like a Timbuk2) but a little more "techy" version from Eagle Creek, with 2 divisions of the main pocket and several handy organizer pockets. It's great, but one might still want to protect their Visor & other electronics in an otterbox.

Talking

Funny to call this a man-purse, I bought exactly this case for my mom for use as a purse and case. She's always preferred small cases and loves it.
