Poll: Would you buy a iPAQ or HS Prism
I have been a long time HS VDx user since the time they started selling them in retail stores (Staples) and have loved it. Use it daily at home and corporate workplace. Love the tons of freeware and shareware apps and flexibily it offers.
Now I want more. I want to connect to internet sites vs just static channels from AvantGo and Vindigo. I want a better Outlook\Exchange client like my wifes old WinCE 2.1. I want to connect to the corporate LAN by ethernet or Wireless LAN (WLAN) or via modem. I want a better Office capatible app suite.
Friends at work have either HS Visors, Prisms or Palm v, VII or iPAQs. The iPAQs have cool abilities like using notebook PCMCIA modem, ethernet & WLAN NICs, better "mini MS Office Suite" with a much better Outlook client and huge multimedia.
In order to use Xircom cool new WLAN module, I need PalmOS 3.5 and HS units dont flash upgrade the OS like Palms....need to upgrade or buy new machine. If this is the case, should\would one buy a HS again or get a Palm or.... go to the dark side and join the PocketPC movement with a 32 or 64mb Compaq iPAQ?
What would you do?
