IE 6.0 and it's stupid grudge against Quicktime.
When I downloaded the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, I knew about some incompatibily issues it had with Quicktime. I figured, "When do I ever use quicktime? I don't see that many movies." Well, as it turns out, alot. SO, any way of getting around that?

Don't use IE
. Go to www.apple.com/quicktime and see if it installs an ActiveX control for you. This developer page talks about the issue.

Uninstall IE 6.0 -> Go back to IE 5.5. Voila, all your problems are gone.
Quicktime and IE 6.0 get along just fine for me. I did have to install the ActiveX component James talked about though...

As a browser IE is lame. About the only thing it's good for is displaying pages. What you need is a kickass browser shell for IE called NetCaptor. http://www.netcaptor.com/
(I can open five Visor-related sites at once, can you?)

That is a rather funny question. I almost always have AT LEAST 5 sites open in IE, usually closer to 7 or 8.
Anyway, if anyone would like a shortcut tip in IE, if you want to open a link in a new window, just hold the shift key then click on the link. Voila, the link opens in a new window. This is really![]()
