I heard a lot of bad rap about Buy.com but hear my story. I ordered my Stowaway--with a $10 off of $30 coupon I got from a savings site--which brought the total down to $74. I thought of getting 2Day delivery to get it in time for Sunday(my Birthday). I decided not to, because I'm cheap . So I got standard UPS ground shipping. I finished the order which totaled $80 including shipping at about 2. It shipped at about 5PM that day. I got it the next day at about 5PM. One day shipping via Ground . This did come from Illinois though (I'm in IN). Still this is pretty impressive I think. If you want a great deal on a Stowaway, get one of the coupons (e-mail me if you want to know where I got mine--this isn't the place for them), and order at Buy.com This is my second time using them and I've been very satisfied. I wrote this so that people know that not everyone has had a bad experience--and some (like me) have had great ones with Buy.com. So if you're attracted by the lower price Buy.com has--by all means go for it! Now I have to wait until Sunday to open it up

I'll put in a good word for them too. I've used them a couple of times myself. I've never had a problem with them and they do get stuff sent out very quickly. Of course, I'm from St. Louis and they're shipping from Illinois....so maybe that's the excuse for me also.

Got mine at buy.com as well. In stock. arrived on time. I'm happy.

I too have ordered from Buy.Com and have not had any problems. I live in Central Kansas and they shipped my order from Dallas, TX. It showed up two days after I ordered with ground shipping.

I too have a great experience with buy.com. I ordered a Plextor burner at 3:45pm in Illinois. It was at my office the next morning by 10... Of course, I put next day but they have a disclaimer saying "if ordered after 2 pm, the shipment will be delayed."


I was like... "Holy s**t... do they work in this building?"
