Question

Palm Vx will also have 8mb, be smaller, and be able to upgrade/have less bugs/ and has tried and true customer support (bad screens etc.)
Is it worth the extra 200$ for all of this? What do u think?

Just bought a Palm Vx (Still waiting on my Visor Deluxe).

The form factor is the real attraction. Unlike the Palm Pro and Palm III series, it really is a "shirt pocketable" device. The 8mb ram is great too. But the PRICE is still way out of line. It is significantly faster than the IIIx and V that I tried out previously.

The rechargeable battery is nice, but like many others posting here, the convenience of using AAA batteries when the power goes is more reassuring than looking for a charging source when you're on the road.

The screen is excellent. If the Visor uses the Palm V screen, it will be a winner too. All in all, you probably get more value for the dollars in a Visor, but the size/convenience is very appealing (check out the-gadgeteer review for a picture of the relative size of the various Palm/Visor systems to see what I mean).

in the end the expandability is key for the visor. the palm Vx is too little to late.
