I take it back, it is working! How did you get there?

Where? I just checked handspring.com , info.handspring.com , and store.handspring.com and the first two point to the info only page that's been up for the last couple of days while the last one comes up with page not currently available. What URL are you going to?

This link only started working today... I think they are beginning to get things back on-line...

Everything on the store but actually purchasing a case appears to be available right now. And it's FAST too! Porbably because nobody's on it yet. We'll see how it holds up once the traffic hits.

Nah, they shut it back down again. I think they weren't ready for this baby to be accessed.

THere are several dead links that I found. I don't think they are ready for anyone to be on the site just yet. We may be getting on through some old bookmark or cache.

Thanks for the info. The response times appear to be a lot faster (or is it because not many people are accessing the site right now).

I think that they just had their permissions wrong and that they (incorrectly) assumed that people would be unable to go directly to the storefront w/o a link from the main page.

Once a bunch of people jumped on the site they looked at their logs, saw what was happening, and slammed the door shut.

Too bad, I would have liked to browse even if I couldn't shop!

You're right, they shut it down...

However, the site at this link was modified a number of times today...

It may be they were testing the site before trying the on-line ordering again???

I was able to browse around the site but it is no longer open --- any links now return "Store closed." Handspring must have figured out all these people were connecting!
