Rechargeable + active armor

Hi I have just recieved an Active Armor case which I love. The only incconvenience I have is changing the batteries. Since I use Nimh batteries I have to change them often. So my question is, can I put 2 wires inside the battery compartment connected to the batteries, & let it stick out of my case with a small plug, and connect my charger directly, or will it blow my visor. I have seen a few threads on modifying the cradle & the visor to have a rechargeable cradle. But i am not sure if I want to play inside my visor...

That sounds risky to me.

The Full Charge system might work better, though you might need to cut a small hole.
