-- Eyemod2 - the dreaded green cast! (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=12153)

Ouch! So the review showed off unfortunately the dreaded green cast typical of florescent lighting. The next question is - where are the florescent to daylight filters? Can it be handled in their supplied software?

I was afraid people would assume this is the "quality" of the device.
But check the EM2 site -- plenty of well-lit, well-framed, well-shot photos.
Some in some of these threads, too.
Fluorescent light is notorious in photog. for the green-tinge prob.
Also note James said he used 60-watt bulbs around the house. I never was happy w/anything less than 100. But even incandescents tend toward the red-orange-yellow part of the spectrum (though I think the brighter, the less pronounced).
Daylight is best.

I've used my EM2 @ the office, and, I have to say, the florescent lighting is much better than night time incandescent lighting. I've found that (like bkbk said) you need some beefy wattage to get a halfway decent pic. Not so with the florescent lighting.

As the men on film state: "I give it two snaps up"

Seriously, I like this new doo-dad more and more every day.
