Talking

Honesty, I haven't paid attention to the price of gas. The company I work for pays for my gas (business and personal use).

I would like to say that everyone singles out SUVs as the gas guzzlers when really most SUVs, minivans, and pickup trucks get basically the same gas mileage. I was shocked to learn that a Honda CRV gets the same gas mileage as my Chevy Blazer. Surprising considering a CRV is small and has a small engine.

Another factor for gas-guzzling is the driving style of the person driving. Driving style, under-inflated tires, poorly tuned engine can make any vehicle have poor gas mileage.

All of you who knock on SUV owners shouldn't be quite so harsh. Are you trying to tell me that we should all drive 2 door sub compact cars? What about families, such as mine, that have 7 people and really won't fit into anything smaller than a Suburban? I realize that some SUV owners are just showing off, but not everyone is that way.

We're saying you should get a station wagon

Seriously though.. They're great if you have a family, problem is, SOOO many people are pretty much single men/women who only drive them themselves. The people who use SUVs for their family are less likely to run everone down on the road.
