Question

How do I get my visor to display the date instead of the time when I switch it on ?

I always have a watch on me, but I usually forget what the date is today. I know I can switch to date book to find out but I prefer to default at the main screen.

I don't understand. When I turn mine on with the power button, it is still on the last screen I accessed.

I can, instead, turn it on with the "datebook" button and it will start up with todays date displayed.

Do you have some hack or something that makes it display the time whenever you turn it on?

You're right, actually it does show the last screen that I accessed. But I usually goto the main page by selecting the 'house' icon. That's the place that shows the time.

How do i get that screen to show date and day instead ?

Why don't you just turn it on by pressing the calander button?.... it goes right to the calander with the date in the upper left.

Try Launcher III. You can set it to show day, date or time or cycle through them on a selectable interval.

I use a hack called TealGlance. When I first turn my Visor on -- using the on button on the left -- it shows a picture of an analog clock, the day, date, the digital time, and the first few calendar and to-do items. It's a good way to start!
