-- FullCharge for Visor (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=8551)

Posted by HostileJava on 10-09-2000 07:03 PM:

I wrote EXtendComp and asked if I could get a release date and this is the response I got:
Dear James,
We are trying to release FullCharge the Visor before Christmas.

Thanks for your interest and we will e-mail when it is availble for purchase.

Regards,
eXtend Computer & Instrument

So it shouldn't be to much longer.

Good -- I'm looking forward to this thing. It'll be nice to get out of the hassle of changing batteries while at home, without losing the ability to use AAAs in case of an emergency.

I agree -- the full charge seems to offer the best of both the re-chargeable and disposable worlds.

What is FullCharge? I don't think I have heard of it before.

It's a device that will conver the Visor to a regargable battery that doesn't need to be removed to recharge.

And a similar, though equally non-shipping device:

I sure hope they will make a 220V version too....

I also like the 'wallsocket-12Vplug adaptor'. That way you can charge in the car too, great for trips...

Toolkit,

Is "Als je dit kan lezen en het ook nog begrijpt, ben je een kaaskop" a sentence from a real language?

It looks like "If you can read this and also understand it, then you are a cheese-head"... What's a cheese-head????

it is from a real language indeed... It's Dutch...
mmmm how could you translate it if you didn't know what langauge it is?

Cheeseheads is a nickname for the dutch since they produce a lot of cheese...
