Its not cheating the BEst Buy company. The reason they are so popular and so huge is the customer service. PLUS THE RETAIL SALE PEOPLE ARE 15 year old kids. Best Buy will never argue with you about any return as long as you have a recipt. You may think they lose money butt the dont, the gain more customers and continuing customers by word of mouth. If you leave the store happy buying a tv you will more than likely come back to by a computer and leave happy, then when people ask where did you get it from you will tell them "Best Buy! you should go there they are so helpfull".
Oh by the way i am going to stick with the EDGE it rocks. plus it leave no unsightly buldges in my pockets the only buldge you see is by my zipper!!!!

Well, I called Best Buy and was told that if there is a problem with my Visor Edge, they would exchange it for another Edge. They said that their policy is to exchange a defective unit with the SAME unit, as long as the same unit was still in stock.
If the unit which is under warranty is no longer being manufactured, THEN they would exchange it with a comparable unit.
In otherwords, they will NOT allow me to exchange the Edge for another type of PDA.
I spoke to the manager, and he did say I could return my Edge, and get a credit of the full purchase value, but that my warranty would then be null and void.
Is this not the experience of others?
Brian
Thanks for your help!
I actually called another Best Buy in my area, and inquired if they had the Clie 610 in stock.
They ended up allowing me to exchange the Edge for a Clie 610, and keep my warranty.
Man, the screen on the 610 is simply amazing! Photos look like they are on a television set! Sharp, brilliant colors!
I'll miss the compact size of the Edge, but for my purposes, I like the Clies color screen, memory expandability and OS 4.0.
Thanks again!
