Thumbs Up!!!!
IVD owner since 1/17/00
Data entry is a breeze
USB-ready, with extremely fast, glitch-free synching
Portability and size (I no longer have to schlep my usual usual huge, heavy, messy, unwieldy paper organizer)
Springboards (I've got my eye on the camera SB - but will wait for reviews, etc.)
Trouble-free, no problems: no screen scratches, no cracks in the casing, crisp and clear screen
I'm glad I opted for the Visor - I purchased a Palm IIIe, used it for two hours, and returned it when I found that I had serial port conflicts, and couldn't sync with my computer.
Complaints: alarm could be louder; shipping stylus required what I considered to be excessive pressure and a finer degree of precision; backlight is difficult to read unless Visor is held at a "certain" angle and you're in the dark.
Finally, I appreciate all of the helpful information I found here at Visor Central. I have been able to avoid pitfalls, thanks to solutions and caveats shared by others, and, I have received helpful responses to a few questions I've posted on these boards. This resource has enabled me to avoid having to contact Visor customer service.
So, thanks, Handspring and also to all of you who post to these boards.
Lynne
Love My Visor! Will love it even more once the much anticipated modules become available
