Has anybody heard or seen anything about a replacement casing for the Visor/Deluxe/Platinum

Eg. Colored casings, or Metal

Replacement Cases

It's been a thread quite a few times. The current scoop as I remember it is that there is no replacement case for the Deluxe in either metal or plastic, there are some people who where thinking about making a metal replacement for the plat or prism, but its still in development. Go to www.dave.com and see what he has available currently. His cases are CNC milled billet AL, and are not cheap, but they look wonderful.

You, could get a black case. That's the only thing I know of. Check it out

I suppose if the mobo for the plat and deluxe uses the same keyboard connector, and just flops the sides, this would be a fairly easy recase. Can't ever tell with the japanese Kaizo crowd though, they seem to love making the impossible happen.

Thanks for the photo. I would much rather see how they managed to upgrade the memory board and find out if that can also be done on a deluxe.

And I've thought about buying one of the black cases from gethightech.com - I also need a clip cover that hasn't broken from overuse!!
