Ok, Palm users have Palm User Groups (PUG). What should we call Visor User Groups? We need a good general acronym.

Handspring User Group (HUG) - Show everyone how much you love your Visor. "Hey Honey, I'm off to my HUG meeting

or HSUG - Not too bad

Visor User Group (VUG) - Sounds like some type of disease

Any other ideas?

On a related note, what do we call Visor users? Those with 3Com products were Piloteers for a long time (are they Palmers now?)

Does that make us Visorteers? Visorettes? Oh, wait! I've got it! Visines!

Although, since we all use PalmOS, are we not all Palm Users? Do we not all Hot Sync? Do we not all groan and reach for the paperclip? They have a Palm IIIx. I have a Visor Deluxe. You have a Visor Solo. He has a Palm VII. I think we should all join together and mock WinC.....oh, sorry, "Windows Powered" devices and quit this pointless bickering.

I think James hit it on the head with HUG. 3Com users can stay PUGs (makes me think of a rodent-sized dog), and "Windows Powered" users could belong to the "Drones from Redmond Users Group".

HUGs not DRUGs!

Bearing in mind that the Visor is a PalmOS device, I think we still fall into the Palm User Group category (unless you're specifically going to reject people just because they own a different BRAND of PalmOS device).

Just my two cents worth.

I wouldn't shun any Palm user. I used to have a Palm III (sold it to a friend) and tell people about all of the PalmOS models when they ask me about "PalmPilots."

If we have a specific forum for user group news, most likely it will have HUG/PUG in the title.

Everyone is welcome here. Just wipe your shoes when you come in
