I'm thrilled with my VDX, and even more thrilled with BackupBuddy. I used BackupBuddy to transfer all my IIIx data to the Visor. The only problem--I had updated my IIIx to the new Palm 3.3 OS... There's a file called Connection (which I think is part of the new OS) that caused my Hot Sync to stop. If you use BackupBuddy to transfer everything via Desktop overwrite Handheld, be sure to tell BB NOT to copy that file. You can do that by running BB and going to BB Configuration, and click the Connection DB file. You'll be golden!

FYI, the nice folks at BackupBuddy have created an update to work around this minor issue. If you are a registered user, you should get an e-mail from them. If not, go to their web site. I highly recommend this product!

I'm a registered BackupBuddy user and have not received any update. Can you give more details on the "update" that received from BackupBuddy?
