Hi! My name is Winchell, and I'm.......a gadget-holic.
(Hi, Winchell!)
Actually, some of my friends do call me McGyver.
It's such a slippery slope. You carry a few pens. Then you figure a tire pressure gauge is roughly pen-sized. Well, a MagLight flashlight is only a little bigger, why not carry one of them as well? And it snowballs.
There are some functions the Leatherman has that the swiss army knife does not, and vice versa. There are justifications for most of the items.
However, the bright spot is that my Visor eliminated the need for me to carry the scientific calculator and the largish day-planner I used to have to lug around.
I also try to alleviate the "stodgy factor" of suspenders by wearing ones that are rainbow colored.
Luckily my programming shop doesn't have a dress code.

Those of us who wear heavy objects on our belts and do not want our pants to fall down.
While wearing my BurroPak, I have a leather box on my belt that contains:
my checkbook
spare batteries for my Visor
a Leatherman multi-tool
a swiss army knife
a maglight
a pointing laser
a centerpunch (to escape submerged cars)
an x-acto knife
a tire pressure gauge
an extendible pointer
three shuriken
(snip...)
Reply:
You're kidding about the shuriken right!?!?!? You just threw that in there to see if anyone would notice right?!?!

To Tame a Shuriken
Okay, help me out here. What is a shuriken? Much less three shuriken. I even tried looking it up in the M & W, but no luck. So now I have to humble myself with a pathetic display of ignorance and ask.
But I reassure myself by remembering that there are no dumb questions.

A shuriken is....
To answer the question above,
basically a shuriken is a sort of throwing weapon, like a bladed star or small dart-like thing....ie: "ninja throwing stars"
To Winchell:
a rough neighborhood, eh... 'nuff said ;-)
