A few minutes ago I have received the modem at work. Ordered on the web 11/22/99 when it was briefly available in there. I am looking forward to checking it out tonight.

Since I am a Mac user I will use it mostly for surfing the web and some e-mail and maybe some HotSyncing while traveling.

Anyone in there with an opinion on ProxiWeb? What do the Piloteers use to surf the web?

Did they charge you for shipping?

Well, yes and no. I ordered also Flash Memory. It arrived in Dececmber and the invoice showed $8.50 for shipping. There was no shipping charge on the modem invoice, just the modem. I verified with my credi card company and indeed the charge was for just the modem.
