Cable for VDX to Nokia 6190
Does anyone know of any company that sells a Cable for VDX to Nokia 6190? I found out that there is an application called Global Pulse by TDK in Europe, that allows Palms to use GSM phones. Does anyone know more about it?
You can try the following sites:
Gomadic
SupplyNet
I took a quick glance and did not find one, but I thought I would provide the links anyway.
**By the way, please do not post the same thread in more than one forum, as it takes up more space and bandwidth.**

Sorry
I'm sorry for posting it twice. After posting in the VDX section, I noticed that there is another area for communications that is probably beter suited for the post.

Here is another site you might be interested in:
TeleAdaptUSA
Unfortunately, none of them appear to have cables for GSM phones, which is what you are looking for.

Cable, Cable and Cable
The only thing to be concerned about with a cable between your phone and a VDX is if you have Verizon wireless. You can't access Verizon's service over a VDX (anything with Palm OS 3.5 will connect to Verizon no problem though). Apparently you can connect to a standard dial-up number via the cable method, though Verizon won't allow me to dial in to any of the three dial up accounts I have access to (not a configuration issue, but a message when dialing in that says something to the effect of "Verizon cannot provide access to this number from this service account").
You may be fine with another service, just beware of Verizon. Also be aware that if you ask sales at one of the cable suppiers they will tell you it does work, then when you talk with support they will confirm that in fact it does not. Grrrrr.
