I've had my Visor Deluxe for about 2 or 3 weeks now and I'm dying for my first "spingboard module"! I have the Tiger Woods Golf game on order, but haven't yet received it. Does ANYBODY have any modules already that they can tell me about? Thanks!

Here's my breakdown:

Ordered 10/04
Rec'd Visor 11/24
Rec'd Backup Springboard 12/2
Rec'd 8MB Flash Springboard 12/7

I didn't order the golf Springboard, so I can't comment on that one, but there are a couple of threads in this group where I have talked about my experiences with the two cards that I do have:

Also, James has written a good review of the 8MB Flash card here on VC. I have also seen a review of the Tiger Woods Springboard, but the location escapes me.

The short version of all of that is that the Springboards work as advertised, Handspring has finally made "Plug 'n' Play" actually mean Plug 'n' Play, and most people wish that their desktop computers worked as flawlessly as Springboards.

Unhappy

I have the backup springboard that I bought from one of the VC members that received a double shipment. I wish my GVD would get here so I would have some where to stick it.

The backup module is a really cool way to make sure your data stays intact when doing battery changes and trying hacks. One touch and it's done!
The 8MB module was a MUST for me. After maxing out the original memory, it was great to throw in another 8MB! It really is like having a 16MB device. It is a module that is in the slot 99.9% of the time!

I got my BVD last week and just received my backup module today. It works great and is easy to use. I'm going to wait and get the 6 pack springboard rather than get the 8MB memory that Handspring sells.
